I caught a plane Monday morning at 10.30am from Hong Qiao Airport (about 25mins from where I live in Shanghai) and arrived in Beijing at 12.30pm. This left the best part of the day to check into the hotel, have a good lunch, do some work and then sight-see Beijing by night! After a good night's sleep we set out early on site - later on that day we had time to sight see Beijing by day and by dusk we were headed for the airport to catch a 8pm flight back to Shanghai.

Comments: Very hot day! It was between 35 and 40 degrees with little shade. At this stage most of the work is concentrated on road works. Check out other images in the image gallery.
